The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rowan University is a hub for innovative research and education. Our PhD and MS programs offer students the opportunity to work with faculty members on cutting-edge projects in biomaterials, tissue engineering, biomechanics, biomedical robotics, drug delivery, synthetic biology, and immunoengineering.
We have strong collaborations with physicians at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, allowing our students to participate in clinical research projects. All admitted PhD students receive a Research Fellowship, which includes a full tuition waiver and competitive biweekly stipend.
