Accountant - Banking Specialist
Location: Plymouth, MN or Colorado Springs, CO
Plymouth Location: 9805 45th Ave N, Plymouth, MN 55442, United States
Colorado Springs Location: 3630 Sinton Rd Suite 300, Colorado Springs, CO 80907
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm, Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days in office per week

Role and Responsibilities
- Work with partner banks to open new bank accounts and CD’s as needed for new and existing clients
- Process new debit card account requests
- Set up new bank accounts in our accounting platform
- Set up clients with online bank access for our partner banks
- Track CD renewals and process changes
- Process bank account closures for terminating clients
- Address bank overdraft notices
- Address system issues between partner banks and our accounting platform
- Follow accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Work with our existing team of accounting professionals to ensure that we provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Provide support and guidance to other departments, such as community managers, asset management, and operations, to ensure that they have the financial information they need to make informed decisions
- Maintain CD Rate sheet on a weekly basis
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Education Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 3 years of experience in accounting. Experience handling accounting operations for HOA clients a plus
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and HOA accounting software systems, such as CINC
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-based environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to withstand prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Employees in this role must be able to sit, stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods
Pay Range
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 per year. This good faith estimate is based upon RowCal's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
