Job Summary
The HRBP/HR Manager acts as a strategic partner to the business, providing HR expertise and ensuring the alignment of people strategies with overall organizational goals. The HRBP collaborates with leadership teams to implement HR initiatives that enhance employee performance, engagement, and development.
Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership:
• Work closely with senior leadership and management teams to understand business goals and translate them into HR strategies.
• Advise and support leaders on people-related challenges, including organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and other HR initiatives.
Talent Management & Development:
• Support talent acquisition efforts by providing insights into workforce needs, talent pipelines, and recruitment strategies.
• Drive talent development programs, including succession planning, leadership training, and career development.
• Manage the performance appraisal process and provide coaching for managers to improve employee performance.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
• Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and foster an open-door policy for resolving workplace issues.
• Implement and support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Advise on disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and promote a positive workplace culture.
HR Policy & Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to maintain consistency across the organization.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
• Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, engagement, etc.) to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Utilize HR software and systems to generate reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Change Management:
• Support business transformation initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring, by providing HR expertise on managing change and maintaining employee morale.
Organizational Development:
• Assist in driving cultural change initiatives and the adoption of best practices to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Implement initiatives to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workforce.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• A minimum of five years of human resource management experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Preferred Requirements
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
