Role and Responsibilities
The On-Site Maintenance Technician is responsible for the care and maintenance and repairs on residential communities or multi-family properties.
- Performs exterior maintenance and repairs, painting and minor finish work, and general property upkeep.
- Schedule appointments, maintain records of service calls, and track work orders and expenses.
- Provide on-call/emergency service as part of the required on-call rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Basic understanding of general maintenance and construction.
- Must have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Experience in construction and minor finish work is a plus.
- Maintain high level of customer service interacting with internal/external clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AppFolio, CINC, WebAxis, Xactimate, Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other client relationship management software preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to drive to dedicated community locations daily.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods.
- This person must be able to carry and climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
