Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Inventory and Lot Management Associate to join our team. An auto dealership Inventory and Lot Management Associate is responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the dealership lot by moving, parking, and arranging vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are properly accounted for, inspecting them for damage, and providing support to the sales and service departments as needed; essentially keeping the car lot neat and orderly while tracking inventory and vehicle movement.
Responsibilities
Vehicle movement:Driving and parking vehicles on the lot in designated areas, moving cars to accommodate customer test drives, deliveries to service, or sales preparation.
· Inventory management:Keeping track of all vehicles on the lot, including new and used cars, ensuring proper documentation of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
· Vehicle inspection:Checking vehicles for damage upon arrival and departure, noting any issues on reports.
· Key management:Securely storing and managing vehicle keys.
· Lot maintenance:Cleaning the lot, removing debris, and ensuring the overall appearance is presentable.
· Customer service:Assisting customers with vehicle location and providing basic information as needed.
· Support to sales and service:Delivering vehicles to the service department or preparing cars for customer pickup.
