Key Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas on a daily basis.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility to remove dirt, debris, and spills.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and equipment, to maintain cleanliness and prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure a clear and streak-free appearance.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper, as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains, to keep facilities in good working order.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning supplies and operating cleaning equipment.
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair issues that require attention beyond the scope of custodial duties.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to safety, sanitation, and confidentiality.
Key Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in environments with exposure to dust, various aromas, and loud noise levels.
