About the Position:
We are seeking a Team Lead for our Production Department to oversee a team of 5-7 production staff. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient production of our high-quality products. The Team Lead will be responsible for managing and coordinating the efforts of their team, while maintaining our high standards for quality, safety, and productivity. Production is the heartbeat of Rowe Casa and is where the majority of our products are made. This position is full-time on a 4/10 (4 day/10 hour) schedule. The schedule will be a combination of days between Monday – Saturday. The typical schedule is 7:30 – 6:30PM with some overtime (nights and weekends) may be required. This position is located in New Boston, TX and will report directly to the Production Supervisor.
Key Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Supervise and guide a team of 5-7 production staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate the production process to meet daily and weekly production goals.
- Ensure the team follows all company and regulatory standards for safety, quality, and cleanliness.
- Train team members on production procedures, including the proper use of equipment and safety protocols.
- Continually assess production processes and suggest improvements to enhance quality and efficiency to supervisor.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and upper management.
- Provide regular reports on team performance, production issues, and proposed solutions.
- Complete (with training) understanding and knowledge of each product and the proper manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of production procedures and machinery.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
- Familiarity with the organic and natural health and beauty industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in natural and organic product industry
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, and standard manufacturing equipment such as mixers, fillers, and packaging machines.
Physical Requirements:
