We are looking for an OVERNIGHT STOCK ASSOCIATE to join our Rowe's team.
The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness and product assortment is maintained in and throughout the store. This person will be receiving, stocking, and rotating product, facing product, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service. This position will have shifts scheduled between the hours of 9pm to 9am on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
- Receives stores, stocks, fills, maintains, and rotates products on shelves and displays
- Confirms pricing accuracy, country of origin, and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- Pulls out of dated product from the shelves
- Maintains high presentation standards and quality
- Assists in other duties as assigned.
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
- Ability to read, write, and do simple math.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work well with others and work well as a team
- Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, personnel minded, detailed, consistent and forward focused
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- A passion for serving others
- Prior experience is preferred
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Center Store associates perform their duties in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of frequent exposure to cold, hot, slippery, and wet conditions. Work involves pushing, pulling, carrying, bending, twisting, crouching, and reaching; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand, and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires standing, walking and bending throughout the entire workday and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 60 pounds from location to location.
