We are looking for a BILINGUAL STORE MANAGER to join our Rowe's team.
You will lead overall store operations and associates in best practices that reflect the company's core values of respect, honor, integrity, selfless service, loyalty, and the safety of others. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a leader in building professional working relationships with customers, associates, schools, vendors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Lead and empower your teams through plans to accomplish sales and profit objectives.
- Use initiative, ingenuity, creativity, and good judgment to act on opportunities and issues as they occur within the store location; teach and advise department managers on sound decision-making principles and application in daily operations.
- Manage the fiscal budget, in-stock, inventory, shrink, and expenses including labor and supply management, and cash control with a high level of integrity, urgency, and responsibility and within the best interests of the organization.
- Promote effective communication among all team members.
- Recruit, interview, and hire the best through proactive and consistent recruitment strategies, within compensation guidelines.
- Ensure new hires receive proper orientation and training and conduct regular evaluations of direct and indirect reports.
- Adherence to all state and federal employment laws and company policies and procedures through a partnership with Human Resources
- Reviews all schedules, to ensure that the needs of the store are met, to accomplish all the duties required to maintain and increase sales, profit, standards, and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in business is preferred or any combination of education, experience, and training.
Experience Knowledge, Skills
- Five (5) years of management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees and customers in person, on the phone, and by written communication in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills, effectively addressing customer issues, and controlling business impact.
- Must possess strong communication skills, including verbal and listening skills to communicate with customers and fellow associates effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to handle conflict appropriately and professionally.
- Ability to read, write, and do simple math.
- Ability to work well with others and work well as a team.
- Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for our mission and commitment to working collaboratively.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk on various types of flooring, utilize manual dexterity, talk, see, hear, smell, and perform repetitive movements with both hands and/or both feet. The employee is frequently required to reach at waist level or overhead, carry, push, or lift various loads up to the required weights listed. Occasionally required to sit, balance, kneel, bend, crouch, and climb up to 30 ft. May lift to 70lbs and push or pull up to 250lbs. May be exposed to working in indoor, outdoor, cold, freezing, heated, and wet/humid working conditions. Exposure to loud noises, skin irritants, dust, cleaning solutions, and working with sharp objects.
