Key Responsibilities
- Assist in providing speech therapy services to students with speech-language disorders as prescribed by Individual Educational Programs (IEPs)
- Perform instructional activities and clerical duties in support of student case management
- Maintain accurate records and documentation on students
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance from an accredited college or Board-approved program
- A minimum of 100 hours of SLPA fieldwork experience
- Current and valid registration as a Speech-Pathology Language Assistant with the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispenser Board
