What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Sales Associate position at Rowley's Red Barn?
We are looking for Associates to provide excellent customer service to our amazing customers in our new location.
Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify customer needs, answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Must be available to work on Saturdays.
Rowley's is a Family run operation offering many items from our famous home made Ice cream to fresh produce, baked goods and beyond.
There are currently two openings for closing shifts but must be available Friday and Saturday until 9:30pm. Business hours are Monday thru Saturday 9AM-9PM. Closed on Sundays.
Associate starting pay is $10/hr.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products
- Serve ice cream, slushies, and other Red Barn treats
- Operate the point-of-sale system to check customer's items and handle their payment.
- Ensure the store is clean and presentable
Position is for closing shifts on all days. We are closed on Sundays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
