Overview
This position is responsible for growth and retention of customer sales related to oil, lubricants, bulk packaged products, and other associated product lines. This position will interact with existing customers and prospects along with internal departments on a daily basis with the goal of driving profitable sales and growth of gallons. This position will represent and promote the organization through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Promote sales of product lines by contacting and developing present and prospective accounts in a specific geographical sales territory
- Assist customers with general product information regarding product selections, composition and intended use and make recommendation as appropriate
- Work closely with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Logistics to serve customer needs and expectations
- Assist Credit Manager with accounts receivable collections as needed
- Maintain sales and activity reports through the use of CRM software for all customers and prospects
- Participate in scheduled sales meetings and marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and telemarketing events
- Maintain high level of industry knowledge on product lines through continued education and training

Required Experience
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
- CRM experience
- Valid driver’s license
- 1 years of sales or relevant experience
- Professional presence and proficiency in customer-focused or consultative selling
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of Rowleys products and their uses
- SX ERP usage
Hours
This is a full-time commission-based position with a 2-year base commission guarantee.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will have no supervisory responsibility.
Travel
Travel will occur daily throughout assigned territory. Employee must reside within assigned territory.
