The Outpatient Counselor completes a multidisciplinary biopsychosocial history and assesses the patient’s drug and alcohol history, establishes treatment goals, and provides therapeutic and educational services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.
Job Duties and Responsbilities:
- Maintaining caseload per State Regulations.
- Ensure completion of all required paperwork (i.e. psychosocial summary, treatment plan, progress notes, etc.) as outlined by regulation both accurately and timely.
- Provides evidence-based and other approved counseling techniques and interventions to facilitate client success.
- Offer assessment, individual, and group sessions.
- Provides appropriate interventions to facilitate the engagement of non-compliant patients

Outpatient Counselor Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Psychology or other related fields which includes a practicum in health or human service agency preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field is required and clinical experience preferred.
