Applicant must have at least two years experience or have closed a minimum 50 transactions.
This is a full time position with competitive commission structure and benefits.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Originator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, assessing their financial needs, and providing tailored loan solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the mortgage industry, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Evaluate clients' financial situations to determine appropriate mortgage products.
- Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation.
- Negotiate loan terms with lenders on behalf of clients to secure favorable rates.
- Process loans efficiently while adhering to company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
- Utilize accounting software and financial software to manage client accounts and track loan progress.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FNMA guidelines and underwriting standards.
- Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the loan process, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with real estate agents, appraisers, and other professionals to facilitate smooth transactions.
Skills
- Proficient in loan processing and underwriting procedures.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
- Familiarity with Quicken and other financial software tools.
- Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Background in financial sales or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to analyze financial information accurately and make sound recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to build rapport with clients.
