T I T L E :
Director of Non-Farming Operations
P U R P O S E :
To oversee and ensure the efficiency, safety, and quality of all non-farming operations, aligning with the company’s vision and goals.
R E P O R T I N G S T R U C T U R E :
Reports to the VP of Operations.
R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S :
· Lead non-farming operational teams.
· Oversee inventory control, production schedules, and operational workflows to ensure efficiencies.
· Collaborate with department heads (Farming, Sales, Customer Service, etc.) to support organizational goals.
· Develop and implement operational strategies, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals and company vision.
· Monitor and report on operational KPI’s
· Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems to improve workflows and reduce operational costs.
· Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements, including GlobalGap and HACCP.
· Provide leadership to teams through training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
· Participate in strategic planning, including budgeting, project management, and long-term operational goals.

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S :
EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, TRAINING, and/or EDUCATION
3-5 years of experience in operations management or a related field.
KNOWLEDGE OF…
· Advanced Lean Manufacturing Philosophies
· Leadership and decision-making skills
· Work on and lead a team-oriented culture
· Annual budgeting processes
· Working knowledge of GlobalGap, SQF or other quality or safety ISO based management systems.
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Working knowledge of computer and computer program operations, including e-mail and the Microsoft Office

WORKING CONDITIONS
· Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time and access stairs, frequently in an office, manufacturing and farm environment.
· Ability to bend and stoop frequently
· Vision requirements: ability to constantly use far and near vision, depth perception and/or color vision
· Physical requirements of the job:
o Ability to lift up to 44 lbs.
o May be exposed to loud machinery/equipment noise, frequent possibility for exposure to chemicals, odors, hot/cold temperatures and/or electrical current

Pay: $69,867.10 - $85,750.00 per year
