Responsibilities
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience as a Full Stack Web Developer with a focus on Microsoft Technologies
- Experience building front-end web applications using modern web technologies using Angular 2 and React.
- Experience with C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Web API
- Additional Client Side Experience with Node.js, NPM, Webpack
- Strong knowledge of SQL. Specifically with design, development, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- A sensitivity towards building user-friendly and intuitive interfaces. Must be proficient with CSS and UI/UX Design
- Understanding of the full scope of application development (authentication, integrating with APIs, build process, testing, validation, state management).
- Excellent communication skills
Additional experience in the following areas is a plus:
- Familiarity with Excel Development specifically VSTO
- Experience working with financial market data from Bloomberg, Reuters or other similar sources
- Experience with hedge fund industry or other financial instruments/software (research, risk management, portfolio accounting, reconciliation, order management, etc.).
- Experience building responsive, mobile-friendly applications
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (S3, Cognito)
