Royal Atrium Inn, Assisted Living, a Providence Life Services Community, located in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Assisted Living Coordinator.

The primary purpose of your job is to assist Director of Clinical Services to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Assisted Living Services in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that may govern our facility, and as may be directed by the General Manager, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Assist the Director of Clinical Services to develop, maintain, and periodically update written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the assisted living department.
- Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
- Assign a sufficient number of personnel for each shift to ensure that quality care is maintained as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
- Assist the Director of Clinical Services in making daily rounds of department to ensure that all assisted living personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
- Ensure that rooms are ready for new admissions.
- Monitor medication schedules to ensure that medications are being received as documented.
- Develop a written service plan for each client that identifies the problems/needs of the client, indicates the services to be provided, & goals to be accomplished.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Michigan.
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprinting for criminal background check and complete a reference check.
