JOB DESCRIPTION
OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (OSR)
Reports To:
- Sales Manager
Job Overview:
- The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) is responsible for acquiring new customers as well as maintaining existing customers. The OSR will mostly be traveling daily to potential customer's offices in order to establish a business relationship with those customers. Customer tracking and notations will be critical in this position. Daily reports on progress made to the direct supervisor are a must. A successful OSR is personable, hardworking, customer oriented, self driven as well as company minded.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cold calls to potential customers.
- Handling customer interactions.
- Entering information into company software.
- Answering phone calls and sales emails.
- Complete outbound phone calls for sales, collections, and customer issues.
- Any other duty deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications:
- High School or GED equivalent; College Diploma Preferred
- Prior Outside Sales Experience required
- Equipment and Vehicle Knowledge Necessary
- Computer Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to walk in a non-paved environment and lift up to 20lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
