Experienced Automotive Body Technician Qualifications
- 3 years of auto body technician & repair experience - this is not an entry level position
- ASE Certification / Automotive training (preferred, not required)
- Valid-unrestricted driver’s license
- Strong technical knowledge
- At least the age of 18
- Desire to grow career & technical skills!
Experienced Automotive Body Technician Responsibilities
- Refinishes damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership quality specifications and time standards
- Assist/train to prep vehicles properly for paint (tape, mask, etc)
- Rub and polish completed vehicles
- Communicate with estimators/management team if additional work is needed
- Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings
- Maintain a clean and productive work environment by keeping tools and supplies organized
- Adapts to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry
