Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Controls Office with 5-10 years of experience in regulatory and financial reporting within the financial services sector. This role involves ensuring strong control environment, coordinating controls testing, reviewing findings, performing root cause analysis, and remediating self-identified issues. The focus will be on evaluating controls related to regulatory and financial reporting to various regulator, including Federal Reserve Bank (FRB), Office of the Controller of the Currency (OCC), and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). The role will primarily focus on the U.S. Finance control environment, covering both SOX and non-SOX areas
Job Description
What you will do :
- Coordinate and oversee testing activities with controls testing teams, ensuring that control testing related to regulatory and financial is properly executed.
- Review observations and findings from testing, conduct root cause analysis, and log and remediate self-identified findings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to reporting to entities such as the FRB, OCC, and FINRA.
- Evaluate the design and operations effectiveness of controls related to regulatory and financial submissions, identifying gaps or deficiencies.
- Provide advice to management on overall risk assessments, residual risk evaluation, and the improvement of control environments.
- Work closely with internal audit, regulators, and management teams to facilitate audits and control reviews.
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior management, recommending corrective actions and process improvements, as necessary.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
