What is the Opportunity?
Join us as a Senior Audit Manager in the Internal Audit Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the audit and compliance functions within RBC Bank, a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Canada.
What will you do?
- Support the Audit Director and Chief Audit Executive with audits, regulatory and internal audit issue validation, quarterly risk monitoring, and annual planning activities.
- Conduct assurance work covering Retail and Real Estate Lending businesses for compliance with US regulations, along with oversight of risk management practices.
- Lead audit teams through the full lifecycle of audits and special reviews, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Manage planning, execution, and reporting activities for audits, including drafting audit scope, overseeing team efforts, and reviewing work papers.
- Perform fieldwork testing and ensure findings are communicated with senior management.
- Manage resource planning to ensure adequate staffing for audits.
- Develop and execute data analytics testing for audits and continuous risk monitoring activities.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to effectively carry out risk monitoring and provide valuable insights.
- Support skills development initiatives within the audit team by offering coaching and mentoring to junior staff.
