What is the opportunity?
Are you interested in working as a TNS Service Delivery Manager on the Telecommunications and Network Service Delivery Team in Technology & Operations at the Royal Bank of Canada?
RBC`s Service Delivery within the Telecommunications and Network Services team provides the technical delivery, supply chain management, client engagement and project governance as it relates to Telecommunications and Network Services projects, business requests and operational activities.
The TNS Service Delivery group specifically provides the technical delivery, supply chain management, client engagement and project governance as it relates to Telecommunications and Network Services projects, business requests and operational activities.
The Service Delivery Manager serves as the technical project coordination resource with the proper skillset to facilitate and drive the successful deployment of data networking technologies in support of both small and large projects, and any other network-related business requests.
What will you do?
Serves as the technical project coordination resource with the proper skillset to facilitate and drive the successful deployment of data networking technologies in support of both small and large projects, and any other network-related business requests.
Drives Service Design and Operations resources to ensure all data network requests and projects are delivered on time, within budget and in scope.
Work with provisioning team receive / review circuit quotes and make circuit ordering decisions.
Deployment of TNS products including Branch, SOHO, ATM and Routing and switching deployments
Submit TRFs and represent orders in Financial Governance meetings.
Produces weekly status reports and project plans as required.
Conducts weekly meetings in support of assigned initiatives.
Work closely with PMO on large projects to coordinate TNS deliverables as they relate to project plans
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities
Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new how to use new applications
Basic knowledge of wireless systems, routers, switches, WAN, LAN, PRI and ARDs.
Nice-to-have
University or College Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Knowledge of telecommunications providers (Carriers, Colocation Providers, and Managed-Service Providers) and their internal processes.
Industry knowledge of networking technologies and vendor products such as Cisco, Arista, Aruba and / or CheckPoint, and an understanding as to how they are implemented within the financial services industry

The expected salary range for this particular position is $80,000-$135,000 , depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
