What you'll be doing:
Input tax returns, financial statements and other data from individuals, businesses and entities into the bank's lending software.
Analyze financials to determine trends, complete ratios, and prepare cash flow projections
Assess and verify collateral, ensuring it's appropriate for the credit and calculating relevant ratios
Conduct in-depth research into complex borrower situations involving multiple operations or entities
Consider macro-economic and industry trends to offer a well-rounded perspective on financial data
Follow loan policy and guidance from management
Write credit presentations and narratives for committee and board approval, adequately risk rate credits, and track loans for analysis
Prepare follow up reports for lenders and management, varying in complexity.
Generate reports on credit concentrations, outlook policies, and loan impairments for contribution and Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses (ALLL) reporting
Consistently deliver a high level of customer service to both external and internal customers
Help train new lenders on credit flow process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as accounting, agriculture, business, finance or economics is typically required. Combination of education and experience would be considered.
Previous experience in credit analysis preferred
Understanding of Excel and the ability to spread financials and assess risk required
Understanding of Moody’s Lending Cloud is preferred
Good computer skills required
Understanding of tax returns and financial statements required
Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills required
