Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under the direction of the Team Lead, this individual will ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and on-time performance.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Ensure all parts are properly painted and work instructions are followed precisely
- Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects
- Determine flow and coating quality by performing visual inspections
- Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations
- Ensure spray efficiencies are meeting KPI’s based on quoted levels
- Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and on-time performance
- Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the facility
- Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment
- Ensure proper cleaning by removing waster powder and maintenance of equipment
- Train new associates powder coating operations and techniques
- Perform other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Manufacturing experience helpful
- Requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Effective verbal communication skills with a positive attitude
- Highly dependable, exhibits initiative, maximizes use of time, accountable to their teammates and Line Lead in a fast-paced production environment
- Use good judgement and independent thinking to produce high quality, efficiently and safely
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, hands, fingers, legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling of materials, and operating machinery
- Carrying & lifting 10 - 75 Pounds frequently
- Ability to endure hours exposed to heat
- Ability to move and transfer products with an overhead crane
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus
- Must be able to pass a general respirator medical evaluation
1st Shift - 5:00 AM -1:30 PM (With overtime as required)
