What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Officer - Deck position at Royal Caribbean Group?
You will support the 1st Officer by carrying out watchkeeping duties to ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and security regulations. These include observing alarm and indicator panels, reporting significant events observed during safety rounds, and ensuring safe tender operations. You will also assist the Safety Officer in training the crew during drills so they know what to do in the event of an emergency.
