Royal Caribbean Group’s Destination Experiences Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Destination Product Development reporting to the Senior Director, Destination Experiences.
This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary
The Manager, Events and Experiences represents Silversea Cruises within the Destination Experiences Department and will oversee certain geographical areas curating specialized events and experiences including Silversea Exclusives. This role requires a creative and proactive individual with a deep understanding of experience in event planning and product development with ability to manage cross functional teams. In this role the individual must have prior success planning and executing both large and smaller scale events and designing ultra-luxury travel products and concepts. Experience in managing cross functional teams, event budgets, vendor negotiations in a luxury retail environment is highly preferred. They will be directly responsible for driving revenue through a diverse portfolio of products and will need to support team members and use creativity to help brainstorm, strategize, and propose event concepts, new avenues of business and managing existing revenue streams.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Education: An undergraduate degree in business or related field is preferrable
Years Of Experience
8 years in Destination Management and/or Product Development with successful leadership and implementation of product enhancements to strengthen brand positioning and customer satisfaction

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing, promoting, and managing a range of shoreside product experiences including World Cruise and Grand Voyage events for an enhanced guest experience
- Responsible for working closely with suppliers to develop Silversea Exclusives. Custom-made, world class tours/events that would be the highlight of the guest’s vacation. The goal would be that everyone would have the opportunity to experience at least one of these experiences at least once a cruise
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to gain a deep understanding of the product differentiators and a comprehensive go-to-market strategy
- Manage an annual budget of approximately $5M
Education: An undergraduate degree in business or related field is preferrable
