The Royal Caribbean Group's Celebrity Hotel Operations Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Specialist, PMO CEL Product Development reporting to the Manager, Product Development

Position Summary :

Based in Miami, FL. and reporting to the Manager PMO Product Development, the Specialist PMO Product Development will be responsible for supporting the Celebrity Product Development Team with several projects and initiatives including but not limited to Event Planning, Scheduling, Run Of Shows, product launches, Ship installs, and travel planning, accounting and coordination.

The PMO Specialist will support the implementation and creation of new concepts, experiences, activities, and SOPs for Celebrity Cruises. To be successful, the PMO Specialist must work collaboratively with other teams including Product Strategy, Operations, Newbuild, Design, Marketing, Digital, Sales, Risk Management and Revenue Management and ensuring that products meet customer needs and business goals. The Product Development PMO Specialist will play a key role in supporting the innovation process and ensuring the successful introduction of new products to the market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Support in Run of Show planning, coordination, funding, scheduling and execution including venue selection, cost tracking, material logistics, and communication across the stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and successful deliverables, follow ups, trackers and other administrative functions.
  • Collaborates with other stakeholders to achieve alignment, including but not limited to, travel plans and timelines. Able to coordinate with executive administrators to find appropriate meetings and touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with operations to closely monitor the execution of new concepts, measure success and opportunities, audit the finished product. Available to travel about 20% of time onboard.
  • Prepare for and support mockups, pilots, run of shows, immersions. Complete post visit recaps, owner follow ups, trackers.
  • Provide the support needed to ensure we reach our short and long-term goals prior to, during and after new product launches.
  • Able to gather and interpret data to help improve processes, optimize results, and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as presentation (PowerPoint) are required.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring all expenses remain within allocated limits.
  • Track and report on performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Track multiple projects at the same time. Comfortable with multitasking and conflicting priorities. Able to work in the gray and being a self-starter.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports and project updates to stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and implementation of administrative processes and best practices.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures for administrative tasks.
  • Provides general administrative support to direct management as well as Sr Director Prod Dev
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills :

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a combination of creative thinking and problem-solving skills along with a willingness to collaborate in an ambiguous environment.
  • Comfortable working within the "gray" and taking initiatives. A self-Starter.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication. Strong excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, and evolving, hectic environment
  • Positive outlook and willingness to take personal initiative
  • Comfortable with changing requirements and project redirects.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in product development and project management software and tools.
