Position Overview:

We are actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our general hiring pool in Camden County, New Jersey. By completing onboarding and required training in advance, you will be fully prepared to begin working immediately when a new referral becomes available. This streamlined process ensures a seamless transition into your role, allowing you to start making a difference right away.

This opportunity is perfect for compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic individuals who are eager to support individuals in their journey toward independence. Work schedules will be assigned based on Individual's needs, availability, and location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Assist with daily activities and personal goals, promoting independence and community engagement.

• Support participation in small outings and community-based activities.

• Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.

• Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.

• Ability to work legally in the United States.

• Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness.

• Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
