Position Summary

This position offers a dynamic role encompassing staff supervision, training, program compliance, quality assurance, and direct care services. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of leadership, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for helping people. The Supervisor position is an hourly position that is primarily in person.

Required Qualifications:
· At least 6 months of experience within Royal Day Solutions (Formerly SBS) and/or 2 years of paid employment experience, directly supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
· Valid Driver’s License, maintains current automobile insurance, DMV report
· Maintains First Aid and CPR certifications (on the job training and assistance is provided)
· Physically lift and carry up to 25-pound items, unless imposed by a physician in writing
· Maintains a negative alcohol/drug screening in accordance to California law, obtains a cleared Tuberculosis (TB) testing upon hire, and a cleared/maintained Department of Justice/FBI clearance.
Bilingual in Spanish Preferred!!!
Duties may include but are not limited to:
· Supervisory tasks assigned by the Program Director such as communicating, giving direction, support, managing attendance, feedback, answering phones, emailing, faxing, scheduling, coverage, billing, reports, statistics, attendance tracking, etc.
· Supervising direct services, employee management including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, terminations, corrective actions, employee reviews, facilitating/attending meetings, employee training/on-boarding, Royal Day Solutions recommendations/tours, finances, Royal Day Solutions enrollment, investigates for quality assurance, report writing, feedback collection/surveys, mandated reporting requirements (APS/SIR), evaluating an individual’s background, emergency situations, coverage direct care services as scheduled for emergencies, skills, surveys, evaluations, matching persons served with potential job openings or training programs, networking with volunteer, education, and employment sites throughout the community, training/coaching individuals with employment goals, educational goals, money management, technology training, signing up for classes, pre-employment skills training, soft skills training, personal hygiene/grooming (which may include bathing, toileting, changing, dressing, oral hygiene), minor lifting/transferring with adaptive equipment, transportation, mobility training, implementing behavioral plans, and documentation.
· Liaison responsibilities for work/volunteer sites, education systems, and community, including researching new sites, community opportunities, event planning/implementation, event calendar management, etc.
· Training, supporting, and collaborating with the clinical team to best support persons served who experience behavioral/medical challenges which may include but is not limited to self-injurious behaviors, property destruction, verbal aggression, and/or physical aggression.
· Implementing training and educational opportunities for persons served through developing/writing curriculum, accessing community resources, and/or facilitating courses previously developed.
· Working collaboratively with regional centers, parents/care providers, employers, community members/neighbors, co-workers/peers, and Royal Day Solutions management by maintaining communication, using a team approach, and maintaining a consistent positive, professional attitude.
· Maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the position, which will include some evenings and weekends.
Compensation: $27.00/Hour
