We have a current opening for a Licensed Electrical Underground Foreman for our project at Austin Bergstrom International Airport.
The Underground Foreman will work in coordination with the Superintendent/GC/Sub(s)/Customer(s) in management of the project, project schedule and employees on the project. The Foreman will act in a leadership capacity in maintaining productivity, safety, QC, scheduling, and a multitude of other factors that lend to successful project completion.

Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
- Promotes safe and functional work environment through maintaining a clean and organized job site, identifying safety hazards on the job site, and using proper PPE needed per project
- Monitors and assists field crew to ensure quality install and production
- Mentors and develops team by providing feedback and identifying training opportunities
- Assists in pre-planning process and identifies pre-fab opportunities with project team
- Completes daily production reporting, JHAs, Timecards, etc. for compliance and accuracy on a consistent basis
- Maintains 4 week look ahead for project activities, crew, and equipment and submits on a weekly basis
- Collaborates with project team to set productivity goals, establish tracking methods, and monitor project progress
- Licensed Electrician in the state of Texas or reciprocal state
- 5 years' experience working on underground utility, heavy highway or airfield lighting construction projects
- i.e. Underground Electrical Installation, Deep Excavation Experience, Forming/pouring concrete, civil project experience
- duct banks, excavations, manholes, underground conduit, finish concrete
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Working knowledge of electrical and underground safety requirements
- Must be eligible to be badged at airport
- Must be eligible to operate company vehicles
- Experience working on Airfield Lighting projects, preferred.
- $40.00-45.00/hr
- Note: This is a Private Base Rate. This position is Prevailing Wage/Davis Bacon Eligible depending on project assignment. Additional fringe benefits may apply per project designated wage determination
