We have a current opening for a Supply Chain Coordinator in our Sacramento, CA office.
The Supply Chain Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Purchasing Department through data entry, purchase order processing, delivery coordination, and recordkeeping. This role ensures accurate and timely updates to supply chain systems and helps maintain efficient communication between the office, field, and vendors, and other internal departments such as Accounting and Warehouse.. The position is critical to maintaining timely material flow to job sites and ensuring purchasing transactions are executed accurately.
Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
- Enter and update purchase orders and related information in purchasing systems (e.g., Spectrum)
- Track deliveries and update delivery schedules to support jobsite needs
- Assist with receiving confirmations and communicate with vendors for packing slips or discrepancies
- Follow up on open PO items and report on backorders or late deliveries to the purchasing team and foremen
- Maintain and update trackers for returns and delivery confirmations
- Organize and store electronic records, such as packing slips, PO confirmations, and return authorizations
- Support buyers with administrative tasks, including filing, communication tracking, and document updates
- Run and distribute reports related to order status, backorders, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with warehouse team on inbound material tracking
- Answer internal questions related to PO status, delivery timing, or return updates
- Communicate with vendors regarding delivery updates, confirmations, and discrepancies
- Coordinate with Accounting for purchase order submission, invoice matching, and payment tracking

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2 years of data entry, clerical, or purchasing support experience preferred
- Construction or trade industry knowledge is a plus.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including excel); experience with Monday.com and Spectrum preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Salary Range:
- $20.00/hour - $25.00/hour
- This is a non-exempt/hourly position
