We are looking for an Associate with an accounting background, a love for music and entertainment, and a great work ethic to join our team of talented and motivated people. Location: This position can be based out of our Los Angeles or Colorado locations, or on a hybrid or remote basis.
Overview of Role: The Associate acts as the first line of support to our Account Executives, Account Managers, and Business Managers.
A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Responsibilities Include:
- Accounts Payable/Receivable review, approval, and processing
- Maintaining banking and income checklist
- Updating weekly balances, understanding which accounts we monitor and why
- Credit Card/Road Cash reconciliations and journal entries
- Tour Merchandise and Royalty trackers
- Maintaining and data entry for personal expense worksheets
- Update tour tracking system
- Tracking bill backs to labels
- Generating commission statements
- W2/1099 Processing
- Maintaining books and records in a computerized system
Education Requirements
- A minimum of two semesters of college level accounting is required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- A general understanding of the music industry is helpful
