Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Associate to join our team. This role involves providing outstanding customer service, operating the cash register, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and acknowledging customers, demonstrating product knowledge, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Operate the cash register, handle different methods of payment, and maintain proper cash levels in the register drawer.
- Perform tasks related to Customer Self-Service machines, including directing and educating customers on the use of the system, monitoring transactions, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Assist with items not available using the Self-Checkout system alone and comply with federal and state laws regarding restricted products.
- Prepare made-to-order food and beverages, replenish products and supplies, inspect items, and perform customer fuel transactions.
- Maintain safe working conditions by reporting any unsafe conditions to leadership and completing side work as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and decision-making abilities. You should also have basic math skills and computer literacy. The ideal candidate will be able to lift and carry 50 pounds and stand for up to eight hours per day.
