Job Description
Our Inventory Specialist primary responsibilities will be utilizing JIT, and Business Central to manage inventory, maintain product data, rectify variances, review and analyze, respond to and correct variances as well as report finding to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts
- Review and apply inventory adjustments
- Maintain and update inventory transaction records
- I.E. Receipts, production, pack outs, returns and credits.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and report root causes
- Operate a powered/manual or electric pallet jack to move product around within the warehouse.
- Ability to operate a standup forklift preferred to assist with cycle counts

Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years' experience in Inventory Control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, but advanced Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
- Recent experience operating a pallet jack and stand up forklift
- Able to work irregular, extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
- Bilingual (Spanish/English a plus)
- Prefer candidates with exposure to WMS/ERP rollouts
- Experience in Business Central is preferred
Working conditions
- Capable of working in a cold environment; approximately 34-38 degrees.
Physical requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend and stoop
