Job Description
The Warehouse Associate Level Two builds on the foundational skillet from level one. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Handling intermediate inventory tasks and supporting receiving and shipping processes. Safety and efficiency are top priorities in this role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate some forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, stack, and organize products.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods onto trucks and storage areas.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food products to maintain quality and prevent contamination.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and warehouse sanitation protocols (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform basic order picking, staging, and organizing for shipments.
- Conduct simple inventory management tasks (basic entries in BC - Ad Hoc moves).
- Support introductory receiving and shipping procedures.
- Communicate effectively with inter-department team members.
- Compliance with safety protocols.
- Efficiency in task completion.
- Accuracy in order picking and staging.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Full understanding of warehouse organization and processes.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a food manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, team work, and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP) is preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Proficiency in handling manual and riding pallet jacks.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
- Be able to use a computer and iPad
- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on warehouse conditions.
- Cold and wet environment with temperatures ranging from 35 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must adhere to safety standards, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Standard hazards associated with persons and equipment in motion in a warehouse.
- Ability to read, write, see, hear, and speak clearly to ensure accurate documentation and effective communication.
- Ability to bend, squat, stoop, reach, turn, push and pull, and move around in a fast-paced environment as needed to complete job tasks.
- The employee must frequently stand and walk. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
