Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Conduct regular checks on vital signs and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Document client progress and any significant changes in behavior or health status accurately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in cooking and meal preparation are highly desirable.
- Ability to assist clients with heavy lifting and physical support as needed.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by client needs.
