Royal Health is looking for dedicated IHS to join our team. These roles involve providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes or in the community to ensure their well-being and comfort.

IHS With Training: Pay $20-$23/hr
This community based service is focused on teaching and training individuals on independent living skills, and community oriented skills . This role is based on a customized caseload, allowing for employees to build out a schedule that meets individual needs and their own work life balance (work as little as 10 hours or up to 40 hours weekly). This role is independently guided and reports directly to the program manager.
Role Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to)
- Support individuals in independent living skills through 1:1 service.
- Support individuals in mental health management through identifying coping skills, practicing coping skills, and alternative methods.
- Teach and model community integration skills such as: self-managing medications, managing personal finances, appropriate interpersonal interactions, managing the public transportation system, completing the necessary tasks to maintain a home, and accessing community resources.
- Interacts informally with individuals to facilitate socialization and appropriate behavior.
- Participates in scheduled and spontaneous recreational events.
- Teaches healthy living habits and develops the accompanying skills.
- You will meet bi-weekly with your supervisor to discuss your schedule and consult about client issues
Role Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to)
- Light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the kitchen, washing dishes, among other chores.
- Planning and preparing meals.
- Washing laundry and linens.
- Making and changing the bed.
- Caring for pets and plants.
- Staff is occasionally required to carry up to 50 lbs.
- Following the universal precautions rules to ensure the client's safety 100% of the time.
- Complete required 245D trainings upon hire and an annual basis.
- Other duties listed in person support plan.
- You will meet bi-weekly with your supervisor to discuss your schedule and consult about client issues.
IHS Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Pass a DHS background study.
- Maintaining high level of clients confidentiality, adhering to all HIPPA regulations.
- You will meet bi-weekly with your supervisor to discuss your schedule and consult about client issues.
- Must be willing to work in various environments which may include household pets, smoking, untidy living areas, children.
- Can work well with a diverse population, including people with low-income, who struggle with substance abuse, criminal backgrounds, and people with developmental, mental and physical disabilities.
- Record arrival and departure for every client visit via Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
- Valid Driver's License, Full coverage insurance, Reliable vehicle
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Fluent in English language.
- Must be trustworthy, reliable, and willing to work entire shifts fulfilling all obligations
- Interpersonal skills: sensitivity and compassion towards clients.
