Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality resident care, support the nursing staff, and ensure that residents receive the best possible treatment in a variety of settings, including long term care, sub-acute care, and memory care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide support in emergency situations by responding promptly to residents' needs.
- Assist nursing staff in providing hospice care for terminally ill patients.
- Help lift and transfer residents safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Document residents' information accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of resident care principles and practices.
- Ability to provide compassionate support in hospice care settings.
- Proficient in lifting techniques to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
- Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, Sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain resident confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
