We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to independent individuals.
Days/Hours-Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 7a-3p
Evening/Hours-Tuesdays, Thursday and Friday 3p-11p
AWAKE Overnight/Hours-Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday and Sunday-11p-7a
```Responsibilities```
- Assist with activities, laundry and room cleanings
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and guidelines
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Document client progress, behaviors, and incidents accurately and timely
```Qualifications```
-MUST be 18 or older
- Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies calmly and effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Proficient in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
