Position Overview :
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Services Director to lead our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality resident care, collaborate with medical staff, and guarantee that residents receive top-notch treatment across various settings, including long-term care, sub-acute care, and memory care. This position demands strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities :

Plan, organize, direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care to achieve clinical and financial outcomes.Provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional staff.Ensure patient care assignments align with staff competencies, practice scope, and patient needs.Coordinate patient care by scheduling and assigning nursing staff, while following up on work results.Foster a positive work environment by providing support to patients and families.Address questions and requests from patients and healthcare teams.Report significant resident condition changes promptly to the Executive Director / Administrator.Communicate changes in residents' conditions to physicians and families or responsible parties.Qualifications :
Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.2-4 years of leadership experience in a long-term care setting.In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations.Experience working with geriatric psychiatric populations.Ability to assess resident health issues and develop comprehensive nursing care plans.Supervise medication administration and treatment prescribed by physicians.Monitor resident progress and respond to condition changes proactively.Skills :
Current Registered Nurse licensure.Minimum of 5 years nursing experience, including leadership roles.Proficient in medication administration and EMR systems, specifically PCC (Point Click Care).Strong knowledge of memory care protocols and MDS assessments.Familiarity with operations in Skilled Nursing, Sub-Acute, and Dementia Units.Background in case management practices.Benefits :
