Royal Independent School District seeks an innovative, student-driven leader for Superintendent of Schools beginning July 21, 2025. Royal ISD has approximately 2937 students and 474 full time employees and 39 substitutes, serving the communities of Brookshire, Pattison, and Sunnyside in Waller County. Located 40 miles West of Houston, the district is projecting annual student growth of 7.5% over the next few years.
Royal ISD takes the proactive approach in education of offering full-day Pre-Kindergarten for children of all residents. The personalized education focus continues by inclusion of the Royal STEM Academy in Middle School and the Royal Early College High School. The district believes that success is measured beyond standardized test results and that education success in the district occurs because “We invest in our tomorrow every day.”
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in educational administration from an accredited college or university
- Valid Superintendent Certificate
- Five years of leadership in school administration in a public school district
