Job Description:
The Housekeeping Inspector/Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, orderly, and attractive environment for our guests. This role requires a hands-on leader who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment, has a strong work ethic, creative mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high standards. Must be willing to motivate and lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal use of resources.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and payroll.
- Implement and enforce safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in Opera Cloud PMS
- WhatsApp communication
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
