About the Role:
KeyMotive is looking for a skilled Mobile Automotive Locksmith Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mobile locksmith services to our B2B clients, including auto auctions, dealerships, and repossession companies. This is a hands-on position that requires expertise in key programming, key cutting, Lishi techniques, and more. As a mobile technician, you’ll be traveling to various locations to assist clients with their automotive locksmith needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform key cutting, programming, and Lishi services for a variety of vehicles, including high-tech and luxury models.
- Assist auto auctions, dealerships, and repossession companies with key solutions on-site.
- Provide professional, timely, and efficient mobile locksmith services.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality service for clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with car locks, key fobs, and ignition systems.
- Keep accurate records of services provided and maintain an organized inventory of equipment and tools.
- Work independently and manage your time effectively to meet customer needs and schedules.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at all times.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Experience preferred but will train the right person.
- Proven experience as an automotive locksmith, with expertise in key programming, key cutting, Lishi, and other industry-specific tools and techniques.
- Experience working in a mobile environment and interacting with B2B clients (e.g., dealerships, auto auctions, repossession companies).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing top-tier service to our clients.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus but not required.
