Royal Live Oaks Academy is a public charter school located in South Carolina. We are currently accepting applications for high school teacher certified in Engineering. Candidates who are not qualified should hold all the necessary qualifications to become qualified.
- South Carolina or other current state teaching certification in high school content area
- Bachelor’s Degree in content field w/PACE or other alternative licensure program enrollment; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in content field w/score ≥150 on Praxis II Content Test); OR
- Willingness to learn and use best practices in PBL in the classroom
- Clean background check and TB letter (letter required upon hire)
Job Summary: High school teacher who possesses the ability and background necessary to teach two or more of these content areas:
- Aerospace Engineering (PLTW)*
- Engineering (Introductory/PLTW)*
- Engineering Design (Introductory/PLTW)*
- Principles of Engineering (PLTW)*
*Note: Any certified science teacher interested in teaching PLTW Engineering courses can train while teaching through the school’s contract with PLTW.
