Royal Live Oaks Academy is a public charter school located in Hardeeville, South Carolina. We are currently accepting applications for a certified middle school social studies teacher for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Applicants are required to be certified teachers in the state of South Carolina. RLOA social studies teachers are expected to utilize sound educational practices to create critical thinkers and problem solvers.
Candidates who are not qualified should hold all necessary qualifications to become qualified.
- South Carolina or other current state teaching certification in high school content area
- Bachelor’s Degree in content field w/PACE or other alternative licensure program enrollment; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in content field w/score ≥150 on Praxis II Content Test); OR
- Willingness to learn and use best practices in the classroom
- Clean background check and TB letter (letter required upon hire)
Job Summary: Grades 6 - 8 Social Studies Teacher who possesses the ability and background necessary to teach in the following content areas:
- 7th and 8th grade social studies standards
