Company Overview:
Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label charcoal, manufactured fire logs, fire building products, matches and toothpicks. In addition, the Company also manufactures railroad cross ties, which strengthens our relationship with our suppliers in the charcoal business. We offer a full suite of grilling products including charcoal briquettes, all-natural lump charcoal, fire starters along with the Pine Mountain fire building brand, the Diamond brand, and the Specialty Wood Products brand.
Position Summary:
In this key role, candidate will manage daily plant administrative activities related to accounts payable, vendor management, and expense reports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the processing of all A/P invoices for the facility with assistance from corporate.
- Generate purchase orders and product receipts to allow invoices to be processed.
- Entering expense reports for facility personnel to be reimbursed.
- Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
- Assist with the onboarding of new vendors and help maintain relationships with existing vendors.
- Assist with the administration of the facility credit card.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands and priorities.
- Strong problem-identifying and solving skills.
- Openness to feedback, self-awareness, and ability to adapt to change effectively and professionally.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience required.
- Strong/measurable organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Education:
- High School Diploma/ GED required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Ability to sit at workstation approximately 20% of workday.
- Casual office and manufacturing environment; travel is by vehicle or commercial transportation.
