Royal Oak Recycling seeks hardworking, reliable general labor staff to join our team! We are a local leader in the processing of paper, plastic, metal and electronics. We offer a fast-paced work environment, competitive wages and health benefits.
As a general labor team member, you will be responsible for working quickly and efficiently to sort paper recycling materials, maintaining a safe and clean work environment and all other duties as assigned. Forklift or bobcat experience a plus!
You should be someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, productive warehouse type setting. You must have consistent, reliable attendance and practice Safety First, Last and Always!
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience performing physically demanding/ manual labor work preferred.
- Previous forklift or bobcat experience a plus!
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding and repetitive role.
- Ability to work as scheduled, with overtime available.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 50 pounds frequently.
- Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Normal setting for this job is an open warehouse environment.
- Will be exposed to a physical environment and outdoor elements, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.
Starting pay based on experience and skill.
General Labor - $15-16/hr
General Labor w/ Forklift - $16-17/hr
General Labor w/ Forklift and Bobcat - $17-18/hr
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

- Monday to Friday
