Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our customer's automobiles. Oil changes, tire rotations, light duty maintenance (air filters, cabin filters) battery replacement, m/b tires. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting customer and dealer-owned vehicles.
- Troubleshoot problem solve when the need arises.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance as scheduled.
- Utilize supplied programs and read information relative to vehicles in the shop.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
-Be self-motivated and eager to complete a task.
-Have basic tools to complete basic maintenance on vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of automobile troubleshooting if needed.
- Proficient in reading and technical manuals
- Basic understanding of computers and automobiles and their operation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Leadership skills to supervise contractors when necessary
