Job Summary :
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a pleasant, professional
and friendly manner
Interaction :

Essential Functions :
Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are availableResponsible for restocking his bar at the beginning of the shiftScratch off TABC stickers from empty bottles and turn in a liquor requisition to the beverage office at the end of the shiftAssist Beverage Manager with inventoriesFollows set-up proceduresPrepares garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinksGreets members and guestsMixes, prepares, and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage ManagerRequests additional supplies as necessary during rushesReports complaints to a manager as soon as they occurMaintains and cleans bar area and equipmentMaintains records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco, and sundries to ensure par stock is always maintainedMaintains daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demandCleans and lock-ups according to prescribed proceduresAttends staff meetings as requiredOccasionally take and serve food ordersPerforms other related duties as requested by supervisor or managers.Must be able to arrive to work on time and be productive while on the job.Additional Responsibilities :
Do not serve alcohol to intoxicated members / guests or anyone under the age of 21Report intoxicated members / guests and children asking for alcoholic beverages to supervisor or manager on duty immediatelyAlways ask for ID if legal drinking age (21) is a concern. No ID, no alcohol.If a member / guest appears to be impaired and is driving, offer alternate transportation, such as a Taxi or a ride from a friend or relative.Comply with all TABC and Club regulations concerning alcoholic beverage service.Working Conditions :
