Industrial Maintenance Technician Lead

To ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our packaging lines and associated equipment, we are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician lead. Here are the key qualifications and responsibilities we are looking for:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and Repair:

· Perform regular maintenance on the packers, weigh-pack machine, air compressors, robot, conveyors, blowers, industrial shaker screen, and dust collection equipment.

· Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic issues.

2. Installation and Setup:

· Install new equipment and ensure it is properly set up and integrated into the existing production line.

3. Inspection and Testing:

· Regularly inspect equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently.

· Conduct tests and calibration verifications to maintain precision in weighing and packing.

4. Preventative Maintenance:

· Develop and follow a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the life of the equipment.

5. Safety and Compliance:

· Ensure all equipment is operating in accordance with safety regulations.

· Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and compliance with industry standards.

6. Technical Support:

· Provide technical support to operators and other staff to ensure they understand how to use and care for the equipment properly.

Qualifications:

1. Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

· Knowledge of packaging machinery, including weigh-pack machines and industrial shaker screens.

· Experience with robotics and automated systems. (HUGE advantage!!!)

2. Certifications:

· Certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.

· Electrical or mechanical certifications are a plus.

3. Experience:

· Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.

· Familiarity with equipment used in food processing or packaging environments.

4. Problem-Solving Skills:

· Strong troubleshooting abilities to quickly identify and resolve issues.

5. Communication Skills:

· Ability to clearly communicate with team members and management about maintenance issues and solutions. (Bilingual - advantage)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
